This is where I am at so far. I have finished the type treatment and will apply effects soon. I am happy with the results so far!

Character Animation In Progress 3/4
I have chosen to do a dentist concept as my project. I have now created the character and done my storyboard for the infographic. I am having this dentist explain the importance of dental care and good habits to do. It will be brief, and have pop up images showing teeth and demos for how to take care of them.
Personal Video Tutorial Trial
I did two tutorials for this involving typography. I am thinking of doing something for my website using my name of sorts, moving in unique ways. This style matches the look of my website currently. Links to Tutorials: First Tutorial Second Tutorial
The diagrams look great and the typography, music, and background all fit perfectly. It seems like in some of the mouth movements you forget to add a fill color. I also think the ending could be cleaned up because it looks like she's trying to lip sync to the music. Overall, this came together really nice.

ReplyDeleteThe design of everything is very cohesive and sticks to a particular style. The information provided was also very informative and presented very clearly. I think having the character's eyes move would add more visual interest, or have the character walk around slightly. As others mentioned, the lip syncing could also use a little more polish, but this was very well done overall.

ReplyDeleteLove the graphics to help emphasize the narration, and the music feels very fitting! I agree with Trey, I think a little more movement beyond the arms would help the dentist feel a bit less static. I remember your storyboards had the dentist interacting with the demonstrations a bit more, that would've been fun to see!
ReplyDeletethis looks great! The information is clear and the pointing animation is done nicely as well. Maybe adding some auto blink would add an extra level of detail!
ReplyDeleteI really like the visuals and overall clean feel of your video, I think it was really well done. I think one of my only critiques would be to maybe work on the mouth movement a little, sometimes it felt a little off. Great job!
